The present work is result of researches developed from the experimentation of alternative building materials, especially about te use of dirt compressed blocks (BTC in spanish), which have been stabilized with lime hydroxide and cement, trying to be accord with the Mexican standards, in the section relationated with the use in masonry buildings materials and thus verify that these materials comply with quality requirements, as well as conventional materials, in addition to the analysis of life cycle (LCA) in two populations of BTC stabilized with cementitious, seeking to determine their environmental impact and can finally compare them with existing conventional materials.
