Resumen

HURTADO TARAZONA, Alejandra  y  PACHECO MARTINEZ, Julián Andrés. The Powerless Word ¿How are named names?. Valenciana [online]. 2016, vol.9, n.18, pp.165-184. ISSN 2007-2538.

This article is based on the essay “On Language as Such and the Language of Man “ (1916) of the German philosopher Walter Benjamin, and the conception of language explained there. Benjamin teaches that “pure language” is the divine language, in which the name is equivalent to the creation of the thing that is named; after the fall of this kind of language, it appears men language, which is only denomination, mimesis and no longer has magical powers of being creative. Based on this postulate, the poetics of Argentinian writer Alejandra Pizarnik is analyzed, by the relations of the notion of a pure language or zero language in contact with a religious dimenssion, and the failure of the word in modernity, as a lost paradise.

Palabras llave : Language philosophy; Walter Benjamin; Alejandra Pizarnik; Poetry.
