This essay analyzes article 353 of Civil Procedures of Jalisco, which foresees specific regulations on wages of official experts that participate in trials. The fees of official experts that support judges are only paid by the party who proposed the proof. It is considered that this regulation infringes constitutional rights. Thus, it is proposed to implement a judicial review ex officio by judges in order to avoid the application of this article. Finally, an epilog calls for grating gratuity to poor people when participating in civil trials.
