This research analyzes the historical development of the prohibition error and its inclusion in the reform of the Ecuadorian Organic Integral Penal Code in 2019, which allowed to have a regulation according to the structure of the crime established in 2014, which requires a form of knowledge of the elements of the objective type in the fraud and the anti-juridically of acting in guilt.
