HERRERA BERNAL, Luis Lauro. Restorative practices in familiar business. Derecho glob. Estud. sobre derecho justicia [online]. 2024, vol.9, n.26, pp.159-174. Epub 17-Mayo-2024. ISSN 2448-5136. https://doi.org/10.32870/dgedj.v9i26.456.
Restorative justice programs originally began in criminal matters, serving the needs of perpetrators, victims, and the community. In appearance, these issues do not concern the business environment, however, with regard to family businesses where members and managers are familiar, conflicts occur and even situations of violence between spouses or siblings, between parents and children and other family members, violating the stability of family dynamics and business. The use of restorative practices in family businesses is a means to take responsibility among partners, which implies repairing the reworkable, respecting commitments, provides the opportunity to restore interpersonal relationships and reintegrate Socially to the members in the business and family dynamics. Restorative practices involve processes other than an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, such as mediation, conciliation or arbitration.
