In the statistics course, it is relevant that the student understands that the mathematical tools learned and used theoretically can be applied in contexts such as daily life, works business or involved in a social development project. Statistical analysis is mainly relevant to situations where there is uncertainty, working through observation and analysis of randomized experiments. In mathematics education, the teaching of data analysis is an important object of study, due to the relevance of finding better methods and procedures that allow students to develop statistical thinking. In this study, we intend for students to reflect on the problem of soft drink consumption based on an exploratory study using inferential statistics.
