ROJAS SOSA, Odette María. "Each one lives to his law": Disputes between the Court of Acordada and the Royal Crime Hall, 1785-1793. Estud. hist. novohisp [online]. 2012, n.47, pp.127-159. ISSN 2448-6922.
This article discusses the controversies that arose between the Crime Hall and the Court of Acordada during the period from 1785 to 1793, altough their conflicts began almost since the creation of Acordada. From the review of court records of that time, the arguments used -both by the Crime Hall as Acordada- are retrieved to defend their positions, and the actions ordered by the Crown to define the powers of each one.
