The migration of Mexican People to other countries, predominantly to the United States, is a phenomenon that has been studied from different perspectives. One of the associated phenomena is the return migration. The return migration flow changes in dynamics and intensity, particularly in the urban conglomerate context. Therefore, this study aims to arrange the main characteristics of return migration in the municipalities in the state of Hidalgo. It seeks to provide elements for the definition of public policy strategies in the area of government intervention.
