Resumen

BUTIERREZ, Luis Fernando. Heirs of what is to come. Approaches to tradition in texts by Heidegger and Derrida. Rev. filos.open insight [online]. 2021, vol.12, n.25, pp.137-164.  Epub 27-Sep-2021. ISSN 2395-8936.

In this work we propose to investigate the understanding of tradition and its relations with the philosophical heritage in some works by Heidegger and Derrida. We seek to demonstrate that both perspectives are articulated as reciprocal inheritances, within the framework of their respective understandings. In relation to Heidegger, we investigate his considerations around Destruktion, as it is understood as an inheritance in his early works, with the aim to emphasize its implications with temporality and thinking from the perspective of the metaphysical tradition. Regarding Derrida, we articulate his understanding based on his considerations on deconstruction, as an inheritance received through Heideggerian thought.
