VALDEZ-MARTINEZ, J. S. et al. Foot relaxation teleoperated system based on low cost embedded systems. RIIIT. Rev. int. investig. innov. tecnol. [online]. 2019, vol.6, n.36. ISSN 2007-9753.
In this paper, as part of the generation of technological tools oriented to rehabilitation practices, the implementation of a teleoperated physical rehabilitation system for feet with low-cost embedded systems is proposed in order to achieve a positive impact on populations with foot discomfort and thus significantly improve their standard of living. To achieve this, the NodeMCU microcontroller was used, which is an open source development device for applications that require Wi-Fi connectivity, which aims to provide the manipulation of electric actuators that allow vibrations (with DC micro-motor). as the variation of the temperature (with Peltier cell), since it has been demonstrated that by means of the variation of temperature and vibratory massages in specific points of the foot a sensation of well-being in the patient can be obtained. This allows us to conclude that the design and implementation of technological tools to improve the lifestyle of patients can increase their motivation as well as the reduction of therapy time by increasing the accessibility to control electronic devices remotely.
