JIMENEZ-OVANDO, Alejandra Gabriela y CADAVID-ECHEVERRI, Claudia. Politicization of influencers during the post-electoral political crisis in Bolivia?. Polít. globalidad. ciudad. [online]. 2022, vol.8, n.16, pp.1-23. Epub 06-Oct-2023. ISSN 2395-8448. https://doi.org/10.29105/pgc8.16-1.
This article is the product of a digital documentary review whose objective was to describe the use of social networks of seven influencers during the post electoral crisis in Bolivia in October 2019. The theoretical pillars for the present are digital social networks, Democracy 2.0, permanent campaign, and political polarization. In terms of the methodology, content analysis was applied as a quantitative method. As one of the main findings was found the negative adjective to Evo Morales, as well as the related themes denote the violent while the opposite to this is the peaceful. In this sense, it was concluded that the studied influencers having access and extensive knowledge regarding digital social networks amplified their discourses, as part of a permanent campaign against Morales, under a logic of ideological polarization using adjective and various narrative resources.
