This article defines individual knowledge and human cognitive process through items such as prereflexive and reflective consciousness, experience, ideas world, the perception, and the concept of tacit and explicit knowledge. With all these elements is proposed an individual knowledge model as a basis for a collective and organizational knowledge model, and it is explained the relationships and influences between the dimensions of knowledge. As an application of the model, is presented a diagnostic tool of the footwear sub-sector in the neighborhood Antonio Nariño in Bogota D.C., composed by familiar micro factories. This tool is based on a qualitative level of perception: a). High- positive. b). Medium. c). Low-negative. d). No answer. It is developed a values matrix with the results, which allows to study and diagnose the families and micro factories in the footwear sub-sector, in the neighborhood Antonio Nariño in Bogota D.C.
