The purpose of this research is to make a comparative descrip tion of the characteristics ofthe educational spaces (classrooms and common use areas) used by the Degree in Design for Gra phic Communication, before and after its remodeling to integrate ICT, as well as to present the perception of teachers and students about the influence that the changes made in the infrastructure have represented in the learning process of the students and in the development of the substantive activities of the teaching staff of the University Center of Art, Architecture and Design of the University of Guadalajara.
The remodeling consisted in the adaptation of various educatio nal spaces (classrooms and common areas) for the equipment and use of ICT, through furniture and facilities that support the teaching-learning processes. Inside the classroom, the tools con sist of an 82 "screen, a glass board and a multimedia processor to control video and audio inputs.
Currently, the University Center has 93 renovated classrooms and 14 new classrooms built in the period from 2013 to 2017 with adaptations for the use of multimedia technology, "with the purpose of supporting the pedagogical strategies in the student learning process" (Osuna Ruiz, Casillas López and Mendoza Na varro, 2017).
