ARGANDONA ARRATEA, Miguel Artemio. Home office and the work performance of a Peruvian digital services company. The Anáhuac j. [online]. 2023, vol.23, n.2, pp.122-145. Epub 02-Feb-2024. ISSN 2683-2690. https://doi.org/10.36105/theanahuacjour.2023v23n2.05.
The main objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between home office and work performance, taking as a case study a company that provides digital services in Lima, Peru, during 2023. The study was applied using a quantitative approach. The methodology used was the non-experimental design and descriptive-correlational scope. The study population consisted of 115 workers of the company. The instrument used was the questionnaire, which contained 16 single response questions on a Likert scale from 1 to 5. The general result of this specific case was that the home office variable has a relationship of 0.340 on work performance, which means that its degree of positive correlation is low, validating our alternative hypothesis. As a general conclusion, this low positive correlation confirmed that home office, as a work system applied by this company that offers digital services, slightly increases job performance. Likewise, a conservative position is taken and the recommendation is to implement the hybrid modality of teleworking.
