In this work, we use seismic interferometry to characterize the seismic response of the Valley of México. We deconvolved seismic events recorded at Chapultepec, Kennedy and Roma boreholes. To interpret the deconvolved wavefields, we used a stratified model composed of elastic, isotropic and homogeneous layers. Shear wave velocities (S) were obtained from the deconvolved wavefields. With these parameters, it was possible to characterize the sites studied. On the deconvolved traces, we observed variations in traveltimes and amplitudes as a function of the seismic event, which implies that seismic interferometry can be used as a tool to monitor changes in the soil of the Valley of México.
