MARTELL, Cristine R.; CADENA, Cecilia  e  MOON, M. Jae. Estudio comparativo basado en la comunidad de organizaciones no lucrativas que prestan servicio social en Estados Unidos y México: dos caminos diferentes. Estud. polít. (Méx.) [online]. 2005, n.6, pp.11-36. ISSN 0185-1616.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fcpys.24484903e.2005.6.37664.

The non-governmental organizations (NGO) started playing a critical role with a structure and offer different social programs through the public sector collaboration and other NGO. This analyse explore two different cases of organizational design: the model of programs (United-States) and model of network (Mexico). Each organization replies differently to the external environment; especially with the financial resources, as well as his institutional agreements with the government, the citizens and others nongovernmental organizations. We can see the beginning; why and how the NGO develop "inter and intra sectorial" collaborations and how the organizational leadership and the external factors affect the NGO's activities.
