This text is the introduction of author and the critical transcription of the royal pattent letters issued in 1627 by which king Philip IV granted pardon to those accused of overthrowing the viceroy of New Spain in 1624. These are important documents to know the formation of political culture in New Spain and, lastly, the relations between rulers and subjects in Spanish monarchy.
