This work presents a transcription of Memorias de las ocurrencias del reino de la Nueva España desde la llegada del capitán general don Juan O’Donojú hasta la celebración del Tratado de Córdoba (Accounts of the Occurrences of the Kingdom of New Spain since the Arrival of Captain General Juan O’Donojú Until the Signature of the Treaty of Córdoba). The document is preserved by Centro de Estudios de Historia de México-Carso and was written by an anonymous member of the O’Donojú group. O’Donojú was the captain general and superior political chief of New Spain. The document contains a narration of the incidents occurred in those days of 1821 and provides fresh data to comprehend the Mexican Independence. Its importance is assessed in the preliminary study.
