In this article, the authors analyze the representations and meanings from university students about learning and the conditions that promote it. A quality and interpretative methodology was used to obtain data, analyzing it from the actual theory topic. The results confirm the importance to consider motivational and emotional factors from students to achieve learning and the knowledge construction in the classroom. Among these important results: its evidence that students prefer didactic techniques that allow them thinking, creating and actively participation; the functions' professors that facility enough the learning are didactic recourses and liberty given to students to work and shear experiences; the students appreciate highly the openness and genuineness from their professors, and their interest shows the discipline they teach and to the students themselves.
