CORIGLIANI, Silvia  e  NAVARRO, Alicia. Scientific practices of academic teaching staff for undergraduate degrees in Nutrition at two public universities in Argentina. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2015, vol.37, n.150, pp.105-123. ISSN 0185-2698.

At Argentine universities, the scientific practices of the academic teaching staff share certain similarities across all disciplines, while each has certain particularities. The aim of this paper is to analyze and compare the scientific practices of academic teaching staff on the undergraduate degrees in Nutrition at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) and the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL), Argentina, in relation to undergraduate training and academic dedication. This is a descriptive-transversal study, working with teachers on the undergraduate degrees in Nutrition at the UNC and UNL. The sample was taken at random. To gather information, a self-administered questionnaire was employed. The results show that the differences between scientific practices of the academic teaching staff at the institutions under study lie principally in the influence of the disciplinary tradition and style (Nutrition and Biochemistry) when considering actions and decisions to take regarding research activities at the university.
