We present the results of an investigation of the pedagogical changes experienced by five teachers and five academic coordinators of remote education programs in higher education. It was conducted taking a qualitative approach, by means of the ethnographic method, applying semi-structured interviews, observation of some systems of management of learning, and applying questionnaires to students. We observed a professor who adapts to the context of the information and knowledge society, who is changing his teaching and learning methodology, who is learning to use web-based resources. His practice in remote education has helped him develop skills such as autonomy, selfreliance, and administration of time; he has begun to design digital content for online accompaniment; formulate other techniques for monitoring and evaluation; work collaboratively, and promote the use of ICT among students.
