Resumo

We hereby present the results of a qualitative research project, carried out with the aim of analyzing the integrated development of linguistic and historical skills in secondary school students, using the textual genre of the historical-ethnographic interview, in sound or audiovisual format. An instrument was developed to analyze the effectiveness of the interviews; the analysis was limited to the interventions carried out by the students. The results show that oral history as a historical source facilitates the construction of historical thought; In addition, this integrated approach contributes to the advancement of historical and linguistic skills and favors multimodal literacy (although that is not the main subject of this study). The shortcomings observed allow us to improve the instrument and suggest new training proposals.
