KUSCHICK, Murilo. Investigación político-electoral. Elección presidencial en México, 2006. Sociológica (Méx.) [online]. 2007, vol.22, n.65, pp.189-216. ISSN 2007-8358.

Based on two surveys done before the 2006 elections, this article aims to demonstrate how Mexican voters' intentions changed and what factors may have influenced that process. The hypothesis discussed is the simultaneous existence of structural and momentary factors, the former derived from socio-economic, political and cultural conditions, and the latter stemming from events during the campaigns themselves, as well as the impact of the media.

Palavras-chave : decision; rationality; political moment; intended vote.
