From understanding the process of appropriation of mobile technology as a case of domestication in which users interact with the regulatory frameworks and strategies of the operators, in this paper we present an analytical description of the development of mobile telephony in Argentina and an analysis of the declarative strategies of operators, from a set of advertisements.
