The article addresses the problem that the nation state to represent the new processes of globalization and information technology. First, we addressed the issue of state sovereignty that has been affected by the development of global interconnections, then we will address the issue of democracy, which in the present context is affected by supranational organizations; and finally discuss how technologies have contributed information to potentiating the new challenges facing nation states in a society of risk and precarious of the work face to.
