On April 18, 1955 died the famous scientist Albert Einstein due to the rupture of an abdominal aorta aneurysm at the Princeton University Hospital, NJ. To avoid his tomb becoming a sort of tourist attraction, and contravening the principles of Judaism, which prohibits cremation, Einstein had requested that his body be cremated and his ashes be strewn into a nearby river. This was followed on the next day of his death; however, the pathologist who had performed the autopsy kept the brain to study it and fled. He kept hidden for 40 years until he was found and, after a long journey, he returned the remnant brain tissue to the Department of Pathology of the Princeton University Hospital.
