The melisopalynological analysis of honey samples produced by Apis mellifera L. was carried out in two locations of the central area in Veracruz, Mexico, during five months of slamping. In total, 64 pollen types were identified belonging to 28 botanical families, the most important were: Asteraceae that got the largest number of species (14), followed by Fabaceae (10), Malvaceae (4), Rosaceae (4), Euphorbiaceae (3), Solanaceae (3), Boraginaceae (2), Burseraceae (2), Rhamnaceae (2) y Sapotaceae (2). Thirty samples were analyzed (15 per location), identifying in 22 of them a dominant pollen type. The most important pollen types were: Bursera simaruba, Raphanus raphanistrum, Heliocarpus sp., Prunus sp., Viguiera dentata, Cordia sp. y Rhamnus sp.
