GIL ALONSO, Fernando e DOMINGO I VALLS, Andreu. Latin American people's in Spanish labor market 2000-2005. Pap. poblac [online]. 2008, vol.14, n.55, pp.145-172. ISSN 2448-7147.
The objective of this article is the analysis of labor insertion of Latin American population in Spain during the period 2000-2005, using two waves of the Survey on Employed Population (Encuesta de Población Activa, EPA). The results show that the Latin American collective has experienced a rejuvenation process, man-becoming (despite feminine population is still a majority) and of worsening of their average educational level, even though the collective with secondary level is still predominant. The results confirm the starting hypothesis on the existence of a relation between the arrival of immigrants and labor and social promotion of the Spanish population, in a context of constant improvement in the educational level of the autochthonous young population (specially the feminine one).
