Why Mexican economy is not growing? A cause could be the ineffectiveness of major financial tools for development. Suárez Dávila puts forward the general context of Mexican financial policy. He stresses the progress attained in past years, but he also emphasizes the ineffectiveness of the financial sphere to capture savings to be devoted to productive investments. The author points out too the tax inability to increase public savings and give momentum to government investment.
