In the early twenty-first century, the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have faced several challenges, in responding to the globalization of the economy, the rate of scientific, technological and organizational change together with the increasing use of knowledge as a competitive socio-economic development. Currently HEIs that provide career of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Biologist and equivalent, have adapted their programs to meet the needs of society at local, regional and national levels. Hence, the accreditation plays a key role to ensure the quality of education and educational standards to promote significant changes in the higher education system. With this study we aim to present the State of the Art of Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs.
