MENDOZA GARCIA, Jorge. Another social mind idea: language, thinking and memory. Polis [online]. 2017, vol.13, n.1, pp.13-46. ISSN 2594-0686.
The mind has been treated from an individualist and cognitive perspective and that has been the dominant version in psychology and other related disciplines. That idea comes from the las two centuries. Nevertheless, along with this position has been present another approach, one which is much more cultural and social and which argues that the mind is among people, in their interactions, in their dialogues, in their relationships and in their speeches. The mind, from psychosocial perspectives which are from early twentieth century, has been approach through language, thought and memory. In this written is argued the language, thought and memory in a separately way and in this argumentation is becoming clear the close relationship between the first and second, and between the second and the third. This happen so because the language makes possible the thought. This one is a first form of memory and this second one is made with language. These three psychosocial processes shape an entity: the mental. And of that realize different everyday speech expressions. That is what this written talk about. Of one entity: the social mind.
