In considering the moral act, in this essay the author attempts to underline the importance of freedom. His analysis is founded on the problem of contemporary neuroscience in proposing a hilemorphic or an analogic vision of man, which trans lates into a helimorphic vision of the mind. Thus the author's proposition states that freedom -and consequently the moral act, both refer to what classics call voũç.
