We studied the incidence of harassment in public places and the feelings that adolescents perceive on it. method: We used mixed approach, 125 high school students answered a specific purpose survey. Quantitative data were statistically analyzed with spss, and qualitative data with Atlas.ti. results: Incidence of harassment in public places is high in adolescents (women = 69.5%, men = 25.4%). Always they evaluated it as a negative experience. conclusion: The findings expose a form of aggression against adolescent's development, since it occurs in a critical period of their life; where the construction of the self is happening. The results are a call for joining efforts to address a phenomenon that lacerates society. It is call, to reverse the lack of attention given to harassment in public places, and to crate the adequate channels to denounce it, judge it, and leaving it no more with impunity.
