The aim of this paper is to analyze the conditions that favor the systematic occurrence of testimonial injustices in medical practice and to argue that Fricker’s naturalism needs robust socio-scientific conceptual and empirical tools in order to understand dimensions central to the medical consultation in contemporary societies that deepen the conditions of vulnerability patients find themselves in this situations, dimensions that are not addressed in her work.
