The present article is derived from research that established as a central objective to analyze the advances in disciplinary control by going through an analysis of the perception of civil society against such control and finally the factors of incidence that exerts the disciplinary control through its agents at the territorial level. For the fulfillment of this objective, we used an analytical - systematical method, with a quantitative approach, conducting a comparative analysis of social indicators of the Barranquilla provincial attorney’s office, going through the internal normative analysis, as well as different sources of doctrinal character about the study in concrete. As for the findings, it is concluded that the services provided and the exercise of control by the disciplinary body does not count as a good perception of users due to corruption and other factors that reveal the inefficiency of this type of institution.
