LANGLE-FLORES, Miguel Ángel. The productive sector of Tamaulipas through the input-output model. Estud. soc. Rev. aliment. contemp. desarro. reg. [online]. 2020, vol.30, n.55, e20934.  Epub 06-Dez-2021. ISSN 2395-9169.  https://doi.org/10.24836/es.v30i55.934.

Objective:

The convenience of estimating a regional input-output matrix and its corresponding accounting multipliers to analyze the sector economic behavior of the state of Tamaulipas is presented.

Methodology:

National information is regionalized by indirect methods based on location coefficients, and direct and indirect effects on production are estimated against impacts on demand, in addition to Rasmussen-type productive chains.

Results:

The results show the hegemony of the manufacturing industry in the Tamaulipas productive.

Limitations:

Despite the sectorial grouping level and 2013 information.

Conclusions:

As well as the marginal performance of the Leontief multipliers in the bulk of non-manufacturing productive activities.
