LONGA, Francisco. From antipatriarchy to feminism: drifts of the militant ethos in a social movement of Argentina (2004-2015). Rev. interdiscip. estud. género Col. Méx. [online]. 2017, vol.3, n.5, pp.57-89. ISSN 2395-9185.  https://doi.org/10.24201/eg.v3i5.96.

This article deals with observing the path of the gender issue in a contemporary social movement in Argentina, from the prefigurative o pragmatic tendencies that shows the militant ethos. I have worked with in-depth interviews, field observations and analysis of the documents produced by a contemporary social movement: the Frente Popular Darío Santillán (FPDS). The results of my work corroborate the presence of a prefigurative ethos in relation to the gender issue as they help to relativize the sharp divisions between the 'old' and 'new' models of militancy, finding continuities and ruptures between them; these results are part of the overall conclusions of my master thesis in 2013.

Palavras-chave : militant ethos; gender issue; Argentina; social movements.
