Tools derived from Web 2.0, and especially social media, have helped to change the traditional processes of public opinion. Along this paper we analyze how the views generated by 2.0 platforms in Spain are interpreting to take the pulse of political and citizens. Ciberactivism has generated the emergence of new political parties such as Podemos Party, who had record-breaking in Spain's democratic history of a legislative process. This paper focuses to how political parties use social networks to increase their popularity level and how social measurement give a true reflection of the aspirations and needs of citizens, as well as guidelines to follow on the political agenda setting.
