In the fight for the recognition of the political electoral rights of indigenous peoples in Mexico, institutions such as the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation have been at the forefront, their resolutions have anticipated important constitutional reforms, in almost thirty years the advances in electoral justice are considerable; however, the task must continue with the in-depth study of legal pluralism, customary law and the values, interests and principles of each community; the consolidation of true autonomy; the effective political representation of these groups; the intercultural dialogue to achieve the harmonization of indigenous, complex, diverse, effective, effective legal systems, and the proper law of the State.
