LUNA-GIJON, Gerardo. The multidisciplinary experience from the Alicia model to elaborate scientific infographics through information design. Zincografía [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.11, pp.79-96. Epub 23-Maio-2022. ISSN 2448-8437. https://doi.org/10.32870/zcr.v6i11.121.
This paper reports the experience of approaching the design of scientific infographics through a multidisciplinary perspective, by implementing a work model based on information design. It was chosen to work on an experimental qualitative research that involves teachers and students through ethnographic strategies to collect information during the multidisciplinary work process.
The Alicia model is still under development, but it has given evidence of contributing to the practice of design by generating a science communication process through scientific infographics to organize complex processes when professionals with diverse backgrounds work multidisciplinary.
Through a modular process, guided by the principles of information design, the Alicia model has demonstrated efficiency by facilitating multidisciplinary interaction, maintaining the autonomy of the different professions, while the set of interactions provides feedback to all the actors involved in the scientific infographics design.
