In this paper, critical thinking is analyzed within logical reasoning as an aspect of great importance in the student's school career, so that related topics can be incorporated for the student's development, with the opening for the design teacher to encourage this type of thinking in their daily activities directed both inside and outside the classroom, so that the student self-regulates their knowledge for better decision-making in their design proposals. For the elaboration of the present work, a non-experimental, descriptive investigation was carried out.

As part of the analysis, it is pointed out the importance for graphic thinking to develop critical thinking in parallel, in order to stimulate internal questioning within the creative process in design proposals; in addition to the relevance it has due to the incorporation of this topic in the graduation exam.

It is concluded that it is necessary to provide a greater opportunity to this form of work to overcome doubts, fears, uncertainty and, instead, give rise to expression, analysis, the diverse proposal of ideas and ways of seeing things, in order to develop analytical creativity and promote the different talents that students possess.
