After having reached a milestone in the history of the Revista Cartográfica publishing issue 100 in the first semester (January-June) of 2020, one more number is added and it continues to contribute to the research and teaching of cartography, geodesy and science related to geographic information in general.

Issue 101 (July-December) of the Revista Cartográfica, presents 10 contributions. In the eight articles, we find works dedicated to the use of landscape in functional areas of a micro-basin, studies of severity and regeneration of vegetation in a forest fire, use of Geographic Information Systems in environmental problems, tidal model using observations of the SG083 superconducting gravimeter, analysis of deforestation processes, modeling of spatio-temporal changes in wetlands, estimation of altimetric networks and ecotourism as a conservation tool in coastal wetlands. Two reviews are added to the eight articles, the interesting review of the book Cosmographic Notes in the First Circumnavigation of the Earth. Fernando de Magallanes and Juan Sebastián Elcano (1519-1522), and finally, the book review Geocomputation with R is presented, which continues the presentation of books and publications associated with R.

In the new era of the Revista Cartográfica, changes continue to be made on the website (https://revistasipgh.org/index.php/rcar) to meet requirements and make the corresponding presentations for the evaluation in different indexes and databases. In this sense, the Cartographic Magazine has fulfilled the requirements to enter the Latindex 2.0 Catalog, a process that was established in early June.

Thanks to all who make their contribution to finalize each issue of the Revista Cartográfica, thank you very much.
