VELASQUEZ-VALLE, Rodolfo  e  REVELES-HERNANDEZ, Manuel. Effect of agents of alternative management on the garlic white rot development. Rev. Mex. Mic [online]. 2016, vol.44, pp.41-47. ISSN 0187-3180.

The main disease of garlic in Mexico is white rot (Sclerotium cepivorum); most of the fields in Zacatecas are infested by sclerotia therefore disease control is necessary by using the fungicide Tebuconazole, however, it is required to have alternatives that may replace this fungicide total or partially, consequently, the aim of the study was to evaluate the biological effectiveness of control agents alternatives to Tebuconazole for the control of garlic white rot. An experiment was set up in a naturally white rot sclerotia-infested field to evaluate the biological fungicides Triko Root, Rhizo Bac Combi, and Myco Root as well as three different doses of hydrogen peroxide and compared to Tebuconazole and an absolute control. Number of diseased plants was quantified in each treatment. No significative differences were found among variables such as final and initial incidence, epidemic onset, and area under disease progress curve although the number of diseased plants per day was lowest in the Tebuconazole treatment.
