KABUSCH, Marcela Magdalena. The Poetics of the Overflow and its Metanarrative in Two Contemporary Peruvian Novels. Latinoamérica [online]. 2023, n.77, pp.75-98. Epub 19-Abr-2024. ISSN 2448-6914. https://doi.org/10.22201/cialc.24486914e.2023.77.57560.
This article aims to address, from the analysis of two contemporary Peruvian narrative novels from the beginning of the 21st century, the birth of new poetics that are installed in the space-time of the city of Lima overflowed by migrations and convulsed by the internal armed conflict of the 1980s and 1990s. Its originality resides in building a framework of categories for the analysis of the products of popular, counter-hegemonic culture ands its nascent discursiveness. For this, he refers to two novels that function as meta-narratives in which the main theme is reflection on writing, its necessity and its prossibilities as evidence of a historical, political, sexual being, who speaks through the body and that way same writing. The novels mentioned are: Vergüenza by Patricia de Souza and Un golpe de dados (novelita sentimental pequeño-bueguesa) by Victoria Guerrero Peirano.
