We know the name of an average of 35 Aztec dignitaries, as well as their role in the war, justice and the embassies. The article wants to show that, as this society did not provide a separation between politics and religion, they played also ritual functions. For the effect, it attempts to systematically link the titles of the dignitaries with the temples of the sacred enclosure and their gods.
