In this article an interpretation of the context of existing normative plurality in the state of Chihuahua is made in order to explore the various ways in which the Indigenous towns and communities demand recognition of their right to land and territory, as well as the acceptance of their identity and regulatory system when a person from this community is involved in legal proceedings.
