The return of the traditional sectors of the working class as the main players in Argentine politics beginning in the year 2003 produced alongside it a resurgence of certain forms of political participation of young people. In the field of labor unions, specifically in the Peronist tradition, said process was expressed in the creation of branches of unions made up of young people belonging to Kirchnerism for the purpose of the inclusion of the participation of young workers in the unions. The objective of the present article is to analyze the generational relations produced between the young workers and the old union leaders since the emergence of Unions of Young Workers. We take as a case study the organizational experience of the region of Gran La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
