This article has an aim to make it evident that public administration, such as other social sciences, has stated from its origin the elevated epistemological problems regarding its disciplinary condition. And that its scientific statute, ever since, has lived with the same objections as the kindred disciplines. Certainly arid, the epistemological problem has not been alien to it, so that public administration is not a barren land in that set of topics dealt with inside its pages.
