The study presented is carried out by means of a theoretical-methodological focus based on the Brazilian anthropologist’s proposal Darcy Ribeiro who, in their typology of the towns of America, considers to the population from Antilles as new towns. It is about the analysis of the ethnic linguistic survivals of origin aruaco in the west side of the larger of the Antilles. This investigation was carried out through the consultation of diverse file sources and bibliographical, besides a fieldwork in the oriental region of the island of Cuba. It is part of a bigger investigation that studies the taina inheritances in this area.
