The health status of the elderly is important, so knowing their nutritional status allows us to identify the prevalence of malnutrition. The state of malnutrition presented by older adults in a Day House in Toluca was investigated with a quantitative, descriptive study, the Mini Nutritional Assessment validated by Nestlé Nutrition Institute (Spanish) was used, and a non-probabilistic sample of 17 people of female people. 76% are at risk of malnutrition related to living alone, poor appetite, moderate dementia, and 6% with malnutrition. 71% suffer weight loss of 1 to 3 kg in the last 3 months. 76% are at risk of malnutrition and 6% indicate malnutrition.
